Tips for Success by Adam Leib
"If at first you don't succeed..try, try again"
The first time you stood up, did you fall?
The first time you or your child walked, did you?
......And so goes skating.
Whether a beginner or an Olympic competitor....FALLS HAPPEN!
A fall can also be a metaphor for not achieving a certain goals, such as
a gold medal or landing a new jump or a tournament winning power play.
Sports and sports training go on year after year. Each day an athlete
gets to improve upon him or herself.
The only way to improve is to attempt new things and take risks.
Maybe at the beginning of the year you miss a shot or fall on a jump, but if you get up and determinedly do it over and over you can turn your fall into success.
It is not the athlete who does it right the first time, but the athlete that dedicates to getting it right every time that will set themselves apart as the future Champion or Hero.
